Trying to get in touch with ppl who just applied for Immigration recently or are getting ready to in a couple of months from USA. Let´s set up a thread and keep in touch and share all info that maybe helpful for all of us!
I am planning on submitting my app in July 2004. Waiting for IELTS exam on June 24th and results thereafter.

Hi Damir,
Thanks for dropping in. Can you please tell me if we have to wait for further instructions after submitting the application to send the police clearance certificates or can we also send it with the initial application?
Also, do u know anything about how long it is taking nowadays with the immigration process? ppl who applied last year are getting response within 12-14 months!

Right now, Buffalo assesing aplicant of September 2003. They were going pretty "fast" last few due to a small number of application from June 2002 to Spetember 2003. The passmark was 75 at that time.
So once they will be done with September 2003 applicatons, they will definetly slow down down again. Since the passmark is so low these days, the number of applications is very high. So don´t ecpect 12-14 months for the entire process. I belive you should add atleast 4-6 extra months.
