Subject: Medicals
I applied at Buffalo in June 04 AOR July 04 Medicals March first week 2005.

I am in US and my spouse and two kids are currently in India. Our medicals say that all members should do medical examination with One DMP. In my case it is not possible because we are currently not together.

Anybody has idea what to do ?
Anybody is having similar situation and members of a family did medicals with different DMPs in different country ?

Please help.

Nanu

I think it´s fine to do it in different country, as long as they are DMP

Thanks Yijie for your reply.

If this is done separately it will go to Ottawa and combined there per the file #. Is this correct ?

Hi Nanu,

I just checked with a lawyer. Taking medicals in different countries by the same family members is quite common. The way it works is, just send the medical application forms to the family in the other country. When your family goes to the doctor, just let the doctor know that they should send the medical application to Buffalo.
