Hi,
I just got my new IELTS results, and I have to send it to the embassy. Is it OK if I add a sheet to the envelope with my name and file number, with a text like ´Additional documets to Permanent Resident Application :Proof of English Proficiency´ ?
embassy: Vienna
app. sent: December 2004
AOR December 2004

sending additional documents (in reply to: sending additional documents) I would recommend that everytime you will send any document to the embassy, you must always have a cover letter summarizing the contents of your pack/envelope. This will help the officer know what is inside the envelope.
I agree that you should not forget your name, file number and other pertinent information in the letter (please check your country´s canadian embassy website if there is an information requirement).
As per the envelop, you may opt to write your name or not however don´t forget your file number. In any correspondence, the file number is vital and key to updating your records.
