Hi Sharon
I recived medical forms for me and my family. My spouse and two kids are in India and will be doing their medicals there. I am in US and going to do medicals here. Is this very common for many applicants ? Yijie replied that one can do this but I would like to have second opinion ( I do not have any doubt in Yijie authority in Canada Immigration Procedure, just need others´ opinion). The letter sent with medicals by CIC says that all the members should do medicals with the same DMP. I am confused please help.
If we do it separately how all medicals will be combined by Ottawa and Buffalo there after.

It is OK. Do is seperately - these are tracked by your file number on the medicals. I did the same. I was in a different city than my family - could not be at the same place to do the medicals - however everything came in fine.
However make sure (after 6 weeks from medicals) to fax and find out if medicals have been received.

One thing I forgot to add. While taking at different places is fine; make sure you use "ONLY" the authorized test locations from CIC.
Confirm is when you call and check how and when they send in the medicals.
Also make sure you get a copy of the medicals for your records. While you are not allowed to get the originals; these are like your yearly health check and you have a right to get a copy. I say because in case any of these are misplaced.
