We are from Egypt and planning to land end of this month to Torornto. We are planning to apply for the health card once we land. I have already openned a bank account from here and got the bank statement mailed to a relative address in Toronto. That document along with the our passports and stamped COPR documents should be OK for the application. My question is, what about my wife, is she automatically considered living at the same address as she is my wife, or I have to proof her address too? I heared that every adult should proof his residency in Onatrio alone. Any one has an answer?
I have two boys two who are 7 and 11 so I presume that my proof of residency in Toronto will cover them too.
Can I change my bank account to a joint account and get a statement on the spot to use to proof my wife´s residency in Toronto?
