Subject: is a boy under 22 must be a regular student?
  hi!
I want to know, that when 22 year age limit count in family class immigration from pakistan. Will it be count on interview or when the sponsership application was submited to CIC-M or when?.
I am not a regular sludent, and i want to know that can i immigrate to canada with my parents. My sister recived a letter from CIC, which she send us the copy of that letter, and now we have to fill up the "application for permanent residence of canada" with copies of our passports and birth certificates.
Note: About 20 months ago my sister sponered my parents, and we are with them (me and my younger brother) . I am 21.5 years now.

Yours will have to be a seperate application (i.e. independent class). You will be able to get 5 points for your sister being there though. You could have been part of family class if your application would have been filed before your 21st birthday.

As long as you are under 22 at the time of the application you can be sponsored by your sister as the dependent of your parents. BUT there are certain restrictions:

1) You will have to remain as a full-time student till the application is approved and visas are issued. If you are not going to school right now then get an admission as soon as possible.
2) You will have to remain single throughout the process.
3) You will have to show that you are financially dependent on your parents.

I hope you understand that currently it is taking anywhere from 2 to 4 years for the PR to come through under the category you are applying. It seems that it will take even longer now as the parent sponsorship category is "low priority".
