Subject: the proof of real marriage???
  Hello~ guys.

I need your advise.

I am a permanent resident of Canada and right now am staying in Korea(I am from Korea)

I like to sponsor my wife.

I´ve lived with my wife together in Korea for 1year.

We decided to live together after only 1 month date time, and 3 months ago we registered our marrige legally without wedding ceremony, as we don´t have enough money beside this is second marrige for both.

First of all, our marriage is not fake.

In our case, what kinds of proof we need for apply for my wife´s pr visa?

We are thinking...

1. daily life photos -> we have many daily life photo but, no wedding picture. Do you think we have to take a pic with other people eg: parents, friends or someone??? only our pic is not enough??

2. co-signed bankbook -> we made our co-signed bankbook just one month ago for wife´s visa on purpose. Do we have to maintain big money balance in this account?

3. Co-signed lental contract

4. letters from my best friend(to proove our marriage is real)

Nevertheless, do you think our wedding picture is eccential?? and what kinds of proof we need more??

Be advised pls!!!

Well the best way to go about this would be to have an actual certificate. Surely when you registered your marriage you were given a piece of paper as either a receipt for fees rendered or an actual certificate. Typically marriages are thoroughly documented as they are quite important to keep track of. If you do not have this piece of documentation you should contact the registrar in which you were confirmed as a married couple. I think this is probably the MOST important piece of evidence that you should provide to CIC.

Yes the other supporting pieces of documentation will help. But you really need to have the actual certificate, or a certified copy. If you only have one copy you should have it photocopied and certified. Pictures definitely help though too.

Many thanks for your answer.

Of course we have our genuin marriage certificate, but as I asked, because we don´t have our wedding photo and don´t have photo with parents(umm..because my parent didn´t like my second marrage.. don´t want to take a pic altogether... but, we are not kids!!)... nevertheless.. our marriage is not fake...

Since you do not have photos....

I would definitely have friends and other family members vouch for the fact that you are married. This is very important, as a marriage is an eternal public declaration of monogamony.

I would recommend that you send AS MUCH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION as you can.

With my spousal sponsorship my wife and I included a certified copy of our certificate with a detailed description of the ceremony, present parties, and TONS of photos. I did not include accounts from family members, I figured what I included would be sufficient. I also understood that marriages in the USA [I am American] are public record and if it was of concern they could confirm with the state that the marriage is offical, if they had questions regarding legitimacy.

My general recommendation: Supply as much as you possibly can as far as supporting documents go. With that said though, it is VERY important to have things in a very concise order as not to confuse the agent reviewing your case.

Cheers

besides, I saw some spousal immigration cases were rejected although their marriage were real and they had babies, as CIC said they were not sure it was real marriage.
I am really scared if same result happens to us.
I think CIC doesn´t know their subjective mistake can destroy some family´s all life..... it is sad thing...
