I used to read peoples posts where they check e-CAS every day in the vague hope that it would change from In Process and laugh, thinking I would never be like that. And then they call you for your Medical . Suddenly there is a chance its actually, finally, going to happen. You start checking your status daily, you actually know your file number off by heart, you start going slowly insane...is there an E-CAS Anonymous meeting? Its been 3 days since I last checked my online status...

Welcome to the club dude?
Even though we all know E-Status will never change and is not worth the time we spend on it; we all are addicted to it. Hoping it will change.
If you call it addiction; then I guess I need more therapy than you. I check it judiciously twice a day ? even when traveling (OK then it is maybe once a day!!).
So don?t worry?
I hope the dude?s at CIC will update it one fine day?

I have a feeling they update e-CAS weekly. By the end of the week, if there is a material change, they update it. Otherwise, it stays the same.

I have gone through the same. Now that I know dude´s at Buffalo update e-client status only on Monday every week, I have stopped checking it on daily basis. I have a feeling that some decision has already been made in my case. In Jan 2005 they asked me to send proof of funds, which I have already sent and my CAIPS note says that my bring forward date is Feb 21, 2005. I guess it takes atleast one more month to send PP request after the second assessment. I guess ordering CAIPS notes 3 months after sending medicals is very helpful to understand what´s the final review date.
