Have a question about Buffalo timeline for Spousal Sponsorship.
I´m sponsoring my wife whose a U.S. Citizen. Our Acknowledgment of Receipt letter from Buffalo is stamped Feb 26 2004. We have not heard any news since receiving our AOR letter.
If anyone is in the same boat (has not heard any news in 3 1/2 months), please reply with your timeline.

Hi Tony,
I am applying for PR (family class - common law). My timeline is below:
08 March, 2004 - Mississauga office receives application
30 March, 2004 - Sponsorship approved and application sent to Buffalo for further processing
22 April, 2004 - Buffalo start processing application and I received AOR in the post a few days later.
I have not heard anything since. I check e-client every day, it just says ´in process´. I have not been waiting as long as you, hopefully our applications are moving along.

Thanks for the reply.
Processing times for family class applications thru Buffalo are generally 3-4 months (for routine applications). If an interview is not required, I was told that generally the visa will be issued within 6 months (total time). If interview is required, it may take 9-12 months.
