Sent in the fingerprints to FBI on Jan. 12. Still waiting for the cert. God, 9 weeks already, how long I have to wait more? So frustrated with the US government.....

Ohh man... you should not have to wait for such a long time...
Just call them... the number has been given in previous posts...
I´ll try to find it for you...
Anyways... I called them and asked the lady to help me with my finger printing case...
She put a request on my behalf and put a deadline and viola... I had my fingerprinting done in like 3 weeks...
I strongly suggest you call FBI, CJIS.

Phone Number: (304) 625-5590
Call them... And ask for the status of the application.
They have a system where they feed all such requests.
Tell them you are applying for Canadian Immigration and that you have a dedline to submit the application.
the deadline is withing 2-3 weeks and if they can expediate the process.
I got a very positive result from that person´s work. ( I am assuming that the phone call did work)
Anyways... atleast it will tell you whats going on...

I just called this number and was told that my fingerprints had been input into their computer system on March 1. The lady expects the certificate to be mailed to me by the end of next week.
