For what it´s worth, my file number was suffixed with ´BUS´, and it meant ´Business Class (entrepreneur)´.

So I think the suffixes do mean something, but nothing sinister - merely a categorisation.

Good day.

I am from Philippines. I have applied under Quebec and I have already received my file number. But the patter is HA + 7 digits. I thought a file number has a pattern B + 9 digits. Why is my file number different? Please you may have an aexplanation behind this. Appreciate your ideas very much. Thanks a lot!
