| Subject: What do Medicals include? |

Hello everyone,
I´ve been addicted to this board for a while now. Thanks to all great questions and answers (especially to Sharon and Yiije)! I applied in Aug. 2004, received AOR in Oct. and will be expecting Medicals in a couple of months.
My question is: what does a Medical exam include? What tests do they require? What if a person is undergoing a treatment for some condition, can it affect their decision?

It is a blood test, urin, test, X-Ray for the Chest and an overall physical check. If you are undergoing a treatment. That may affect the results of the tests and they may ask you to redo the test. However, you can delay your tests till your treatment is over. You have 120 days to take the tests after you get the mecical request.

my fiance had just completed treatment for anemia when he took his medical. for CIC purposes, he was given a clean bill of health.
