Subject: Landing in Canada

I am now in possession of my right of permanent residence visa. Within my application form I stated that my port of landing would be Vancouver.

Must I enter the country in Vancouver and stay in Vancouver for a certain period of time to make to visa valid/active, or is there no restriction where I can land in Canada?

Many thanks,

Andy

If you had applied in the Federal class immigration then you can go anywhere you want... its not specified... that you have to stay in Vancouver...

If you applied under Provincial Nominee Program then you have to stay in the province you applied for.
