Subject: Errors in CAIPS notes
I just recieved my CAIPS notes I have noted that there are some errors in the CAIPS notes in regards to my spouses birth date and last name. They have both our birthdays the same and her last name is the name before marriage. Should I point that out to CHC Delhi! Would they get offended that I got to know the info through CAIPS . Or should I just send a letter to them stating updated info on my spouse.

Hi 2Canada...Is your wife soon going for her interview at New Delhi??,Did they send a request for her passport,,and 2 photos, and also a form to fill out, concerning her eye color, and her height??...When you check your wifes e-client online,,does that work??..You have to put her date of birth, and last name in that area, and the file number..Does that work properly with that information..If it does then that indicates that her correct information of birth, and name are on her file there some where..Just a thought...

Thanks for the reply (in reply to: Errors in CAIPS notes)
Unfortunately the e-client doesnt work with her last name and birth date. I just tried it now a couple of times. Was a good suggestion anyway. Thanks

How soon will your wife be going to her interview??..Probley the best idea is to fax them a note,,and tell them her proper information,,and also make sure your wife indicates this to them if she has to go for a interview..Do they already have your wifes passport there,,i am surprised they did not see the mistake...Really,,the worse thing about these oversea´s office´s,,is that one is never sure how to get in contact with them,,even if you do send a fax,,one is never sure if it gets into the correct hands..Good luck...

Iam sorry I forget to mention that she hasnt be called yet for the interview (that includes me too).I recieved a letter from CHC Delhi asking for addtl. documents and in the letter it was mentioned that if everything was satisfactory our interview could be waived. I got an overall IELTS band of 8 with the lowest individual score bieng a 7, I hope that helps for an interview waiver.Just for your FYI I got my AOR in May of 2000 in India, its sure been a long time :).We are now both here in the US.
