congratulations, what nationality are you ?
secondly you just hang on to checking the status, it takes some time to have the case enlisted there. Plus the more you check your status , the more is going to be the delay, so just be patient.

Hi Samus,
My time frame is exactly like yours. What follows now do you have to get the FBI certificat or you are waiting for them to request it. I am also in US.

Dude in good ´ol days AOR used to come in 2-4 weeks. I applied around middle of Jan 2004 and got my AOR in early Feb 2004.

Apply for FBI 4 months from now. Your IA should come about 5-6 months from now and FBI process will take about 2 months so you will have FBI about the time you get IA (hopefully with interview waiver and medicals and request to submit FBI etc.)

You have been very lucky. We applied the first week of december and we didn´t get the AOR yet.

Congratulations!

Thnaks Everbody.
Now next step is to arrange for my PCC.
1) From India - Will start after 4 months - easy to get as my friend is IPS officer at my native place.
2) From USA - Not a problem as I am in US.
3) From Australia - Toughest one. Don´t know how to get it?
Would appreciate help here.

My letter says - it will take 36 weeks (9 months) to finish IA. So it is okay to assume , IA will come in 6 months time.

Not sure if you will need police clearance from India, since CIC will do this on its own , will definitely need one from US and Australia

Do you know why I don´t need PCC from India? I am under impression, I have to submit PCC for all countries where you lived for more than 6 months. It´s not true?
Pls. advise.
