i heard that the new minister joe volpe is especting to make the regularisation of the non status possible soon i don t know exactly the rules , but i heard about it

(in reply to: heard about new policies for non statuts) I think that you are referring to the change in "In-Canada" spousal/common-law partner sponsorships. The change in CIC policy allows spouses and common-law partners of Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are live in Canada to apply for permanent residence no matter what there status in the country is. This basically translates to: spouses and common-law partners of Canadian citizens/permanent residents no longer need to have legal status by means of a temporary residents visa (i.e - visitor/work/student visa) to be eligible to apply for "In Canada" sponsorship.
