| Subject: After IA what info CIC seeks |
Hi friends,
I wanted to know what happens after IA...does CIC seek more info as to where & what the applicant is upto? Or it depends from applicant to applicant?

they may ask for a second or third verification of funds, they may wish verification of your employement... they are attempting to clarify anything they feel uncomfortable with.

Well they can ask to re-submit more than proof of funds. In my case I was asked to submit (Interview Waived).
1) Proof of funds
2) Tax-file record for current year
3) Pay stub for last few months
4) Letter from my employer
IA is just a prelim check of your submitted documents to calculate your points. After IA the immigration officer would like to verify some of the information about your current work or maybe more if they wish to.
However, there is nothing out of the ordinary. It is something related to what you have already submitted.

Thanx friends for contributing your valuable info/ experiences. I won´t be employed when I submit my appli. to London CHC by mid-April. Let´s see what they throw at me :) after IA. Good luck to u all.

Hey Robinhood. After my interview, I was asked to provide....
a letter from my accountant re my wife´s earnings from my company,
a copy of my baby´s birth certificate (born during the application process), and
Medicals (of course).
Later, I was asked for the Landing Fee/ROPRF (after the meds were deemed OK)
Then the PP request, and that was that.
I provided updated copies of funds, accounts, houses, business, assets, etc at the interview (I took one helluva briefcase!) just in case - and they didn´t ask for them again.
Flights now booked, House sold...Moving to Vancouver on 16th April. Some 3 years after first expeditionary trip!
Good luck with your application and beware - in the last few weeks before you go, there´s a TON of petty stuff to sort out.
It´ll be worth it though.
