Subject: Applying from other Country
  Hi :

I wanted to check if applying from USA causes delays in Canadian Permanent resident visa if you are a resident from another country. I am aware of the rule that I can apply from US if I have been a resident of US for the past 1 year. I have been in US for the past 2 years.

I am not sure how long I would in US therefore I want to make sure that there would be no problem for issuanes of visa, even if I change country of residence.

Thanks

Not really.

If you are currently a resident of the US; you application moves with all other applicants from the US.

The only factors which may effect your application delay are variable such as how many countries previous to US were they a resident of; your own compliance to submit documents asked etc.

Questions : Thanks for the response. One of the queries I had in previous question was ,what happens if I move to my country of Birth after I have applied for Canadian permanent resident visa in USA. Is it too much hassle or does it cause delay.

Thanks again.
