Does anybody have current processing times at New Delhi? I applied at mississauga on 20th feb 2005, and forwarded to New Delhi on 15 march . What happens next and waht are expected timelines?

around 3 months; maybe more if the documentation is not proper! this is my timeline :
Timeline for spousal sponsorship:
Applied at Miss. - 31st Dec. 2004
Approved - 19th Jan. 2005
Visa Office(New Delhi) starts processing - 3rd Feb. 2005
Interview - 3rd Mar. 2005 (successful!!!!)
CSQ papers returned (wrong credit card number) - 7th March, 2005
Re-submitted on - 7th March, 2005
CSQ received by my wife - 14th March, 2005
NOW, its checks and then i am thorugh!!!!
I am waiting fr my passport at the moment and hopefully, it should be with me soon.. maybe in another 2 weeks at most

aman i always wanted to talk to you with reference to your application , is there any way yu can call chc new delhi and check for your visa status over the phone , because i know when you wnt for an interview , you took your passport with you now why are they taking this much time to sent you a visa because i am in the same boat my wife sent hers on feb 18th and still no response

We have the same timeline for our application:
Applied at Miss. - 30th Dec. 2004
Approved - 20th Jan. 2005
Visa Office (New Delhi) started processing on 2nd Feb. 2005
Passport Request: 10th Feb 2005.
Passport Sent on 11th Feb 2005.
And waiting..............

there is no way that we can call and ask abt the status! we have no choice but wait!!!! maybe another week or 2! we are all almost there....
on the contrary, a CSQ is a certificat de selection du Quebec!! as my wife is a quebecor, i need that certificate.. if ur sponsor is not frm quebec, u dont need anything of that sort....

I think our timelines are similar KJ! i think we would be getting the visa almost around the same date!

See aman and kj we all are in the same boat we have also sent downt the passport for my wife on feb 18th and still no response , same with kj right , normally they have mentioned that it takes only 2 weeks to get the passport back once you sent it down , is there anyway can we find out why its taking that much of time , its been almost 6 weeks

unfortunately there is no way! we have no choice but to wait! if it gets really out of hand, then we can just enquire abt our file or request the CAIPS notes. but i hope that i wont be long. its not necessary that the pp is sent back in 2 weeks time! they may take time..
so, though really restless, i am not too worried abt it! it will be coming in the coming 2 weeks time fr us..
