She Can Stay up to six months from the date she arrived. Extension is difficult. Try your luck...it will be difficult to get visa next time in future.

If it´s written on the visa that it´s expiring on 30 April then your mother can stay only till that date. You should apply for extension as soon as possible (30 days before expiry of visitor permit/ visa) asking from 0 to 6 months time. It will not be a problem at all and does not affect any future visits. You would be going by the book and hence feel free. yes the 3rd extension might be difficult; one should have a very strong reason to stay back.

She must leave Canada by the time the visa expires...if it says April 30 then she has to be gone by April 30th.
You can try to get an extension but it will not be easy.

Good Luck
