| Subject: Landing fee question-confusion. |

Hi guys,
I got a request for landing fee payment in March 2005 which I paid (did not send it with medicals). I checked with the bank and they have already encashed it. I had sent my Medicals and fingerprints and additional documents to buffalo in Nov. 2004 and the eCAS started displaying " medicals received" in feb 2004. Can I expect the Passport request within a month?
Having gone through the website, the replies to similar questions are confusing. Some say everything is done and this is the last stage and others say 3 months required.
Does anyone have a case similar to this and received Passport request in less than 3 months. I presently reside in Canada

I send my medical in Nov 2004 too. But there is no update in the e-cas about medical yet. Can you please tell me when did you apply?

There is much confusion about it.
Until last year everything was working like a clock; begin this year and we all don´t know. If a medical was done in Oct/Nov 2004 - requests for passports should have come by Jan 2005 and here we all are waiting in March 2005 (almost April 2005)!!!
I had started my process in Jan 2004 and did my medicals in Oct 2004; and myy ROLF was cashed in Jan 2005, however have not heard anything. Even EStatus has not changed. However, I´m camped out!!
The only encouragement is that I have seen a few report passport requests come in on this post with similar time-line.

Hi Lolo,
I also paid the Landing fee in March, and it reached Buffalo on March 11. I am waiting for Passport Request. 2 people got PP request with in 2 to 3 weeks. I am keeping my finger cross. Please update the forum, if you get the Passport request.

Does it show "medical received" on CIC website for you?
