I ´m on H visa in USA, how can I get my PR and continue my work here in the US?

You can work in US after landing in Canada by applying for TN visa.I know al ot of friends who work in MI and live in Windsor,ON.Hope this helps.

Once you get your Passport stamped enter Canada taking a few days leave or whatever and become a PR. You can return in a few days to US. Only thing is that in future there is some "time spent in Canada" requirement to maintain your PR status in Canada. I think you would be able to meet that in coming years. Just visit CIC website to check info on how much time you need to stay in Canada to maintain your PR status. I think its 3 out of 5 years...

To work in US you will have to continue on H1 visa. As a PR of Canada you can NOT apply for TN visa - only Canadian Citizens can apply for TN visa.
Like it has been already mentioned you can maintain your PR by staying in Canada for 2 years out of 5 starting from the day you land as PR.

The TN Visa arose out of the North American Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. TN stands for "Trade Nafta." Under the NAFTA, citizens of Canada and Mexico had, through varying degrees, the use of a new non-immigrant visa category, called the "TN" Visa to enter and work in the United States.

Please help!
Now I am F1 student with OPT .However, my OPT will expire in July 05,so far I still can`t find a company as sponsor to help me to change my statu to be H1. Now I am worried about : if CIC would ask me to submit update working documents, what am I going to submit? If I can not provide any other new update documents , such as working permit or legal permit for staying in USA after July 05, what is going to happen?
