hi there!
I am going through a very critical situation,i´ll be thankful if someone could help me through this site.
My problem is that I applied for ca. immigration in 2001.
And in september 2004 i recieved interview call but i did not go because of IELTS.I told the embassy through my consultant about my problem.Again after 40 days I recieved
another call but I could not go.But I informed them.Now I have completed my IELTS.I am waiting for four months but there is no response.Please tell me about this matter
how long I have to wait now

I am surprised that your consultant gave you such a bad advice. I personally feel that it was a bad decision not to go for the interview. You could have gone for the interview and told them that you are going to appear in IELTS very soon.
Anyway send them the IELTS score as soon as possible. After that all you can do is wait and pray that you get an interview soon.

did the consultant advise you what the possible consequences were of not attending the interview? I do not know how many chances CIC give you to attend. Give this situation 100% of your attention so you do not forfeit your application.

thanks to all who read my problem and advised me.Thanks kenny and sharon,I have already sent my IELTS score sheet.I got 6.5 bands(overall).now i m waiting,please tell me if there is any way to get my interview soon,thanks

your consultant should be in the best position to tell you what to do, that´s the reason why you hired a consultant...but then if i were you, i will write CIC to inform them that i am now ready for the interview.. let´s hope you get their attention...

Dear Kashif
According to my knowledge CIC provides only two chances to attend the interview and if you fail to attend it twice, any further action on your application is stopped. This action on part of CIC is reasonable to save their resources.

i`m iranian and i had to apply from syria but i applied from ukraine for faster processing as my consultant told me,
as i have heard,if i couldn`t go to there for interview ,for the first time ,they will invite me again for the second time(if i explain the reason for example,not being able to get visa),and if i couldn`t go again,my documents will be sent to syria and would be processed from the first.
it`s all the things i know,but i guess it`s better to ask them and if it`s neccessary,reapply and make your mind relieved.
