Hi,

First you should contact the related embassies in India for PCC. Simulteneously you can push a request to both the countries. The procedure is mentioned below.

Just send a letter requesting a Certificate of no previous convictions ("spravka ob otsytstvii sydimostei") with your full present and previous names, address, phone number, date and place of birth to the Main Information Center of Internal Affairs Ministry of Russian Federation in Moscow ("Glavnyi Informacionnyi Centr Ministerstva Vnutrennih Del Rossiyskoi Federacii"). No fee needed.

The address is -

67, Novocheremyshkinskaya street, 117418, Moscow.
Phone number: +7 (095) 332-30-58.

=> I think you should contact the local embassies first since the direct address is probably meant for the residents to obtain PCC <=

Hope this helps.

It seems from the web materials that PCC is not presently required from thses countries, its only the case if it will be added in the future.

Hi Rajesh,

These countries are neither in the exemption list nor CIC´s scope.

Meaning, that is applicant´s scope to obtain PCC.

Just my opinion.

Hello Sanrup,

I have filed on Feb 2002 in Buffalo. I was just notified that my file was transferred to The Canadian Consulate in New York. I was never asked for a Police or FBI Clearance. Does that mean the Canadian authorities will take care of it themselves?

For a citizen of Lugansk Ukraine how long does in take to get a police certificate after it is requested ? Also are there any fees for this.

Thank You
