I applied to sponsor my wife from canada Dec 2005 ,after i went to her home country and lived with her for 3 months.I got my approval letter Jan 2005.i submitted my wiife´s medical along the package.
In Feb 2005 my wife was asked for x ray and some other tests again ( I asked medical office about their in put and they told me everything looks normal from teir point of view)
At the end of Feb 2005 my wife was asked to submit her actual x-ray and report only after May 2005.
Question is : Would Visa office conduct security and background check after may 2005? or that´s being done in the meanwhile?

After Medicals.... As I have seen each process goes automatically prompted by computer generated dates. Once medical are recieved the next step kicks in.
