Hi Frenz!
I got my medicals and got my file transferred to Detroit from buffalo ( Feb 2005).
Can i go ahead for medicals? ( They told me not to go for medicals until i get my interview date).
Do i need to show them proof of funds now ( i havent showed them earlier)
Can i pay ROLF now, or wait until i hear from them??
I have applied for extension now (as student)in canada , im afraid if they would consider my request else i may have to leave the country by May 2005.
All these things worry me a bit!
Please advise me!!

did you order CAIPS?
if they didn´t instruct you to do medical, just wait,
proof of fund? didn´t you give them when you applied, otherwise the whole package gonna return, therefore, just leave them alone.

Here is the deal in a couple of months your file will be transfered to Detroit where you will be in queue for the interview. It will take a few more months to get a date for the interview. It takes on an average 8 to 10 months to get interview. It is your responsibility to get the visa of US to come for the interview.

Like I mentioned before it will take some time before you get the interview date therefore you should NOT get the medical done now. Ideally you should get medical done when you get the date for the interview.

You will definately have to show them proof of funds during the interview. Dont worry you have a lot of time to arrange for the funds.

You can pay the ROLF at any time. If you want to pay now you can do that. I suggest you take the ROLF with you when you go for the interview.

It does not matter if you have to leave Canada. Just let Detroit know after you move. What is more important is that you have to get US visa to attend the interview.
