Subject: The proof of marriage
  Hello guys

I need your kind advise.

I am trying to applying for my wife pr visa.(I am a Canada pr)

In my case, because there was no wedding ceremony, I think I need more marriage proof than other people´s.

My question is that I have to submit the letters from our friends, relative who know our relationship to CIC ??

Actually, my parents don´t like my marriage and my wife(story is long)... so, I don´t have the picture with my panets(but, we have many other pictures).. and, it is almost impossible to get the letters from my side(parents, brother,sister)...

But, we can get the letters from my wife´s side....

This kinds of letters can be much helpful for my wife´s pr. and I have to submit??

Be adivised~~

I am a pr from Korea, my wife is from Uzbekistan. We´ve lived together in Korea in 1yr. But, I will go back to Canada soon, and at the same time my wife will go back to UZ to apply for her visa.
We have over 250 daily life pictures... only us...with my or her friends... with our neighborhood... but, no pic with panents....
Be advised~~~~

Ok..so you are saying you only have photos of the 2 of you in your everyday living...Did you celebrate your marriage in anyway..Do you have a marriage certificate,,or any paper showing that you and your wife are legally married??

Dear...
Of course, we have legal marriage certificate in both sides Korea and Uzbekistan... and co-signed lental contract, co-signed bank account... etc
My Q is just about letter from parent... We have pictures with my friends.... and they can write the letters for us to CIC.
But, problem is we can´t expect any support from my parent side (letter, picture..., but, my wife´s parent like our marriage.. so... they will write the letters for us).
I wonder letter or picture from my parent can be much helpful or not to prove our real marriage...

You know what i think..If you have letters, and photos,,and as much other evidence of your relationship as you can supply to the CIC..Then that should be good..All the CIC wants is to make sure that you and your wife are in love with each other....I do not think it matters to much to them wheather your parents are in love with your wife..The most important thing that cic wants,,is to make sure your and your wifes relationship is true, and real...You said you did not have a ceremoney..Do you have any kinds of photos to show that you did have a formal gathering to celebrate your marriage in anyway...

Thank you for your reply....

After we register our marriage without ceremony, we took a wedding picture in the studio.
We could bollow the wedding clothes from there, and took the wedding pictures.
If someone sees our wedding pictures, he may think we had a wedding ceremony...I mean although we took it just in the studio.... it looks real wedding ceremony pictures...
But, I don´t like to tell a lie to CIC that we had wedding ceremony, as we had a wedding picture.
I will tell CIC we didn´t have wedding ceremony and we took it just for celebration...
And, actually, it is true...
