| Subject: Fingerprint or Police Certificate |

Hi, All,
I searched the Fingerprint in this forum but couldn´t find answer to my question. Hope anyone can help me on my following question.
1. Do I have to submit Police Certificate when I file the paper work(imm0008, schedule 1 and schedule 3)? or I will file the paperwork first and wait for some kind of notice from Canadian Embassy and then do the Fingerprint and Politice Certificate.
I am quite confused. From the instructions, everyone should provide Police Certificate. Why someone in the forum says they submit the Finger Print and then Police Certificate after receiving some kind of letter from Canadian Embassy.
2. I originally come from China while only stay in US for 2 years. I know the FBI Certificate will cover the 2 years in US. Do I also need some kind of Police Certificate from China too.

Yes u´ll need Police certificate from each & every country where u or your family members have lived. But FBI & RCMP clearance is only required when demanded by CIC Buffalo; visit their website and see for yourself.

I happen to have the same question too. So what you are saying is we don´t need RCMP unless they ask for it, is that right?
Will they ask me to get it in the near future or sometimes they wiil skip/ignore the need for it?
