Hi,
This is not my first time that I post this matter: I pplies in march 2001, waived interview, medicals been done twice because of expiration and still waiting b/c of background chech.
I orders CAIPS and found that it is waiting for background check for my wife from the FBI. We are 100% sure that she have no problems. but we doubt that the canadian consulate may be did not submit that request or something that we do not know. for myself, they cleared me in two months. we tried to contact the FBI by e-mail, but no response (I believe because it is not us who should contact them since we are not the party who initiated the backgrounfd check)
any advice or past experience with this matter is very appreciated. by the way we are in USA on student visa.
