Hi,
I live in Quebec, Canada and will sponsor my wife(from the Philippines) to come to Canada.
I just received a letter saying that I met the Federal requirements to sponsor and they will forward my application to both Quebec and the Philippine Visa office(Manlia).
My question is, will Quebec send me a form to fill out or will they send a form directly to my wife?
Also, will the Visa Office in Manila wait for Quebec´s decision or will they be processing at the same time?

The visa ofice would not wait fr the quebec selection certificate to be issued or ur undertaking to be signed!! it would start processing ur wife´s file, but would not take a decision until the CSQ (certificat de selection du Quebec) and ur signed undertaking are received by them!
and on the other hand, u will get the papers to fill in and some of the stuff would have to be signed by ur wife! once u send them along woth $250 fees, u will get the approved undertaking and the CSQ fr ur wife! u will have to send a copy of those undertaking and CSQ, which would be provided by the mrci, to ur wife! she should have a CSQ, while she enters quebec and she cant enter without it!
once the visa office receives those, which would also be sent to them by the mrci, they will finalize ur wife´s case!!

ADP, have got any news from the MRCI ? just curious about the processing time from that side. Could you give your time line from the day you send the application up to now ?
Also, what kind of documents do the MRCI ask ? An employment letter confirmation ? Last 3 bank accounts receip ? Taxe papers ?
And FYI i´m not sure the visa office will process your application BEFORE the MRCI sends the approval of the undertaking. As specified in the sponsor guide (3900E.pdf) in the "What Happens Next ?" section :
"If you are a Quebec resident, processing will begin when MRCI informs us they have approved your undertaking."
