| Subject: How Long(Buff.).. Can. Immig? |

Hi,
Applied for Can. Immig. in Mar´02(from Buff.), got the acknowldgement receipt in Aug´02 and the in Jun´03 they send a letter stating that i will be having an interview...but till todate no response from them.
Anybody knows how much time they ar taking...?
Any kind of Help is greatly Appreciated.

hey i applied from buff too.on aug 2002.
got letter on nov 2002 then got a nother letter saying i´d have an interview some time in 7-10 months. havent heard from then since then..isnt that annoying? they re taking forever to decide eh?
so we re in the same boat.good luck.

CIC is notorious for taking long long times to reply.I have heard cases where medicals have lapsed with no response from the embassy and sometimes they forget after intimating for an interview.According to a stat 600,000 residence applications are pending with the CIC and the new rules have all messed up old and new applications plus the acute shortage of staff all this costing endless long waits and ofcourse money for the hapless applicants who can do nothing else but wait and wait.
