Well, I had my interview today in Detroit. It lasted about 15 minutes, nothing special, very few questions about the documents that I had to bring with me. The lady didn´t say anything at the end, she just told me to check the immigration website in about a month to see when my case number will come up as ready for visa issuance and at that point either send the passport by mail or in person.
That was my experience.

hi! there..we had our interview last month at detriot and the lady told us the same thing.But it has been a month now and nothing has come up.Even today they updated the web site but our names are not there aswel.any suggestions.....?????

It might take a little longer depending on them receiving your medicals. When I asked her today, she said that it takes at least 12 weeks for them to receive the medicals. They can´t issue a visa without receiving those first.

I think so, if they didn´t ask you for any further documents it means that they are just waiting for your medicals, at least this is what the lady told me at the interview.

hi! lila..i had already got my medicals done in the month of december 04 and the officer did confirm that she had recieved our medicals...any idea..

i did my interview in the 22 of novemember 2004 in abudabi they said that i will recive the medical form in 6 to 8 weeks its now more than 4 months and i didnot get anything back so plz any body have any suggestion why its late???
