| Subject: Calling all engineers seeking jobs in Canada |

Hi all:
I have been reading this forum for some time now and have been finding questions from several people with the same underlying questions:
1. "Will my experience in US or home country be valued in Canada"
2. "Are there jobs for software/mechanical/electrical/chemical engineers in Canada"
3. "Do I need professional license to work as an engineer"
and so on
I am myself searching for all the answers and propose that we use this forum as a seed for immigrating engineers to network and help steer each other to the right jobs and decisions. We can split and form software group and MEC (mechanical, electrical and chemical) group and address all professional queries through that thread. That way when we enter Canada, we will have a network of our own to reach and will not be alone. What do you guys think. If you all agree, let´s start a Thread "Computer Engineers" and a thread "MEC Engineers".

Guys, I think it is a good idea as proposed by you to move the group to yahoo groups but before we do that we should collect a crtical mass in this forum that will tie us together. So I appeal to you all to go all out on the MEC engineers thread and Computer Engineers thread that I have already created and continue adding people on to it.
