i was wondering if there is been any luck with you , i mean to say did you got your visas
i dont have anything so far, its been 2 months almost since my wife´s passport have gone to chc new delhi , we have sent them faxes and letters no respond , we have also tried to call them no answer , there is no way we can get in touch with somebody in teh embassy
AMAN YOU LIVE IN NEW DELHI, HAVE YOU MADE AN ATTEMPT TO CALL SOMEONE IN THE EMBASSSY TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH MORE TIME IT TAKES ONCE THE PASSPORT HAS BEEN SENT DOWN
GUYS CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHEN DID YOU GOT THE REQUEST TO SENT DOWN YOUR PASSPORTS , MINE IS MORE THAN 2 MONTHS AND STILL NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON , NO RESPONSES FROM THE EMBASSY SO FAR

No I haven´t heard anything yet..... We got the first letter (AOR- WHICH STATED THE NEXT STEP IS TO SEND OUR PASSPORT) on February 10 (Dated February 2nd) and second letter on (February 11th Dated February 10th), which stated the same (only difference was, this one specifically asked for a passport and nothing else) and we sent the passport on March 11th via Blue Dart...I am wondering if there is any problem if sent it via courier and not by post or speed post ?.the letter had two address one is the P.O. Box and the other physical address CAN ANYONE CLARIFY IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS ? cause Courier service wont deliver the passport to the P.O. Box ??

i dont live in delhi!! but there is no way that we can find out either!! there is no telephone or anything at which they can be contacted....
I actually got the interview letter on the 11th feb and another pp request letter on the 15th feb! i decided to take the passport to the interview which was on 3rd march..
the visa officer told me it would take a "few weeks"! not heard ever since as i has been 1 month since my interview and 2 months since my case started processing at new delhi....
i also heard that there is a quota fr a particular month fr each high commission! probably new delhi´s quota would have satiated... hahaha
anyways, i am hoping good in this month
so, we should be getting it this month
if i am not wrong anonymous, wasnt ur wife´s case rejected first and now it is after ur appeal that u have won and her passport´s been called??

i need to something because my wife´s passport is lying with them for almost 2 months , if there is a quota we did,nt get anything in feb ,neither in march so whichmeans when our quota time s comes have no idea
2 months are more than enough because i reading on this website people get thier passport back to them after 2 weeks so why there is quoto on us whene everyone is getting in 2 to 3 weeks why they are holding ours , this matter is becoming from bad to worse

i know ur state of mind, but there is nothing u can do at the moment!! neither can i or KJ!!
i mean we have to wait....
there is nothing wrong with our application! u tell me something - did u wife send a height and eye colour form and 2 pictures along with her passport?? also, KJ, did ur wife send it too??

Nope, she did not send anything. The only thing they asked her was her passport..

yes my wife did sent all the picutures and height and color form , its time to get worried buddy its been over 2 months either my passport is lost or there is a prob

I have met people in my life that worry because they like to. It would appear that our friend can be given all the assurances in the world and hear all the encouragement possible but he insists on worrying. I am afraid there is nothing we can do to change his mind.

Its a norm with CHC New Delhi that they would need a height and eye colour form and 2 pics (conforming to the size specified by the CIC), before they can finalize anything....
i mean, if ur wife didnt get those forms yet, she will have them sent soon.... even if u guys sent 6 pics with the original application, 2 more pics are always required by Delhi people....
i dont understand why she didnt get that form!! also, are u sure that ur wife´s interview is waived???? becuz if it is, she would surely get those forms and a request fr 2 pics..
if not, then that form and a request fr 2 pics would be sent with the interview letter!! confirm this with her though if she sent that along with her passport....

dear friend, u are simply worrying fr no apparent reason.. i mean its not possible that they will lose ur passport or anything!! just chill down fr sometime mate..
if ur wife sent the 2 pics and that form, then i think there is nothing to worry!! she will get it soon! u didnt reply to my earlier question : is ur case a case of rejection? did u win the appeal and now its that they are requesting her passport?? tell me and i think u will have the answer! if it was a rejection case earlier on, i reckon that could be the reason they r taking this long!!
