Hi,
There
I need your advice, i applied my immgration from India in the year 1999 and my interview was also waived, in DEC 2004 i got a letter from Candian embassy in inida requesting me to send my PP and PCC(Police clearance certificate from inida and UAE)i already got the PCC, currently i am working in Dubai and i couldnot send my PP as it is illigal and i dont want to take any chance, i thought to take 1 week leave and visit to Canadian embassy in india and request them to stamp the visa on my PP, i just want to know can it be possible, they will accpet my request if they will, can you please tell me how much time or days they will take to put the stamp. If you have any other better solution appreciate to hear from you.

its not possible at all , they dont accept the passport by hand , it has to be mailed , i wish we all can do like this , and speed up the process , our passport is lying with them for 2 months since it has gone , everyone waitign to get their passport stamp , i wish we can do the same what you are talking

Why in Buffalo you can get it stamped - we have heard so many tell they got that done in a day.
I´m sure Delhi does it too. Check with them.

I think you can send your passport thru courier for stamping. Everyone does that whenever the concerned emabassy is not in the base country, this is norm world over. I dont think its illegal, as long as you have proof of where and why you sent, it will cover you if any one questions.
Also can you tell me in what context you think its illegal.

I need your advice ,I applied my immigration in 1997 from Syria region in damascus and i passed the interview and got a medical in 1998 but some personal reason i canceled my immigration but now i want to re open my case and at that time when i applied i pay a complete fee 1475/= canadian dollar.It is possible to reopen same case.

Hi
Can any one let me know that when i m going to get my passport back from the CHS NEWDELHI INDIA along with visa. I have submited my passport after the request made by CHS Newdelhi INDIA. I have submited my passport on 29/12/2009 and i have already done and submited my medical when i have applied in Sep09 under SPOUSE FAMILY CLASS. How much time will it take to get passport along with the visa stamped.

Change of Destination (in reply to: Passport request.)
I have received an email requesting us to submit our passport to the visa section of the Canadian Embassy. When I apply for Immigration I stated in my application that I will be heading to Ontario, because I have a friend there. It took me seven years before I received the PPR. The problem is my friend in Ontario is now residing at Alberta.
1. Is it possible for me to change my destination?
2. If it is possible to change the destination thru request at the Canadian Embassy, will it affect the time frame of my approval (since my visas are already ready)?
3. What is the best thing to do?
4. Should I settle in Ontario even I have lesser friends to accomodate me?

Change your destination - You don´t need to advise anyone.
If you had said you were going to Quebec, and you were under the Quebec selection program, the answer would be different.
