  Hieee Floks,

I am from India I would like to know that is it true that if I am granted a tourist visa from the U.S. embassy in Delhi for 3 months. So on reaching to U.S. soil; am I able to go to Canada with the valid visa for U.S.to Canada without applying for Canada visa in the Indian passport or do I required a Canada Visa for that if so then where can I apply one, what will I required to take as I am from India so guess Indian paper document will not be any help in the U.S. Are there any better idea to get a visa to Canada from the US soil but with a Indian passport.

Need Advice for help; do feel open for any advice to drop in.

Yes, u can go to Canada from USA with Indian passport and should have any kind of valid USA visa, on top of it u need Canadian Visitors visa. You can apply for visa in any regional offices one is in NYork and should apply personally (be a early bird, u get stamped by evening after the interview). It cost u US$50 for single entry and US$100 for multiple entry into the Canada, HOOOOOFFFFEEEEE anything else, u want....let me know, regarding documents u need ur passport, I-94 and money.

Hi RobinHood:
Getting a Visa to the USA is not a big problem as longs docs are genuine. And not always the case as you mentioned.

Hello Canada

I agree now the consulates world over recognize that people need to travel. As long as your documents and reasons for travel are legitimate you have nothing to worry.

I started to travel abroad when I was 10 and 19 the first time I did alone and needed visa´s. It´s been 12 years since and have been able to secure travel permits with little or no problem.

Only thing as mentioned is to carefully read the instructions on visa forms on documents needed and possibly call the consulate and explain your reasons for travel and ask what you need in order to secure travel permit and do accordingly.

Best of luck.

My doubts come from his level of writing and sketchy plans guys. Comprehending what is needed, Preparing the docs, Convincing the consulate....hmmm not a piece of cake. You are lucky 5 star to have travelled extensively, it makes much easier to get visas. Daily I read the painful stories of genuine people not getting visa; especially US.

My advice to him would be to spend time n money with some authentic consultant/ agent.

If this dude wants to go on a vacation he can buy a package tour. That is better.

Ofcourse the consulate will want to ask him where and why of stay, travel and purpose.

With package it is clear, you are going on a vacation. However you should be honest in your intentions - if you are using a visa for wrong purpose then you are not only making it difficult for yourself in future but also for the geniune next in line person.

Please don´t misuse the system and I agree with the advise of person above.
