Subject: To give an Ontario address or not
I have the following problem. I lived in Montreal, Quebec while I was an International student and I applied for immigration to Canada via the Quebec provincial program for immigration. I have my certificate of selection of Quebec since February this year and I filed my application to Buffalo for Permanent residence. Among the documents is Schedule 5, with which I declared that I will settle in Quebec once I become a Canadian permanent resident. However, I moved to Kingston, Ontario a week ago to continue my education there. Thus, I am in a tricky situation, because I just declared that I will be a Quebec resident and after that, I move to Ontario. I have friends who tell me to rent a P.O. box in Quebec, where I can get my correspondence from Immigration Canada till the end of the procedure, but it makes things complicated. I will feel like a criminal, living at one place, declaring a completely different address... I don´t want to get in trouble. So, I wonder what to do and if Immigration Canada really cares whether I´ll live in Quebec or not. So, please give me some advice. Thank you in advance.

you know what you can do?
POST CANADA has a service called "changed address "

35 dollars plus GST, which valid for half year.
You can re-direct those mails to QC goes to ON your address,CIC has no way to find it out.

Physically you are still in QC, however, you can collect all mails from ON.

OR, you can choose not defraud the Canadian government, and the Quebec government, which has been so nice to allow you to enter Canada based on your desire to reside in Quebec. You feel like a criminal because you are violating the law. It´s simple. Don´t break the law. How is that hard to understand???
