I have received the pp request but my son?s passport is getting expiered in July, can anybody tell me what to do in this case? renew the passport or get it stamped?
The letter says submit the passports "As soon as possible", no date specified. In this case, what is the "asap"?

which visa post is it?? if u are hopeful that u will be able to land before it expires, the go with it; otherwise renew it!!

It´s CIC Buffalo, I am not planning to land early this year.

That is OK. You can send the current passport. When you get it back from Buffalo then send it for renew. You visa shall remain valid.
On the other hand you will waste time sending first for renewal and explaining to CIC and then sending it for stamping.

You should have renewed your child´s PP prior to passport request. I think in the letter it is stated there that the passport being sent must still be valid not less than six months.
