| Subject: Do I still need to take IELTS? |

I have been staying in U.S since Jan - 1998. I did my 4 years colleges in U.S with reasonably good G.P.A and two majors. I didn´t take IELTS for I believe that I don´t need to take the test to verfiy my english standard is good enough. But instead I wrote a letter detailing how English has been a part of my school career and job after school. On top I didn´t think I would need IELTS as I have already been stating in U.S since more than 7 years. Do u think I will still need to take IELTS?

I wouldn´t think so. I have been in U.S. for 7 years as well and when I went for an interview I explained that I had finished college and also worked here and that was enough. They gave me maximum points for language.

Hey lila:
Can you please tell me your timelines and also more importantly what all did they ask in the interview. And what type of supporting docs did you provide for English language. What other docs did u carry for interview and any tips? that will help a lot..thanks..
