I know few people (Aman, Anonymous and me)on the Forum who have sent thier passport´s and are still wating to hear back from new delhi ....is anyone else in the same boat as us ??

i know its taking time , everyone of us are getting panicky about it
recent news , somebody have told me no idea how far its correct , chc new delhi have decided to take ielts for even sponsor application which means my wife even though i have sponsored her might have to pass ielts , thats new thing coming with chc , i dont know how far its correct , i dont believe in it but again that could be reason they are holding the passports

that can never be true anonymous!! family class applications can never come under this ambit.. if that be the case, all people who dont know englsih will be stranded..
i am sorry but someone has misleaded u....
IELTS is only compulsory fr SW class applications.. nothing else.
so stop beleiving in it and just hope for the best with ur wife´s passport!!

you know what amy , i believe you and thats what i said to that person , i was taken by surprise myself , my wife have already given up , e client stautus does not even show that medical have been received

E-Cas will never show medical received; becuz medicals are sent upfront and they dont receive the medicals after... maybe becuz ur case was of appeal and u would have sent a medical after the previous one expired, it might be different for u!!
but for spousal sponsorships now, the line of medicals recieved is never added. i think it used to be when the sponsorship was by the old system..
anyways, the IELTS thing is completely wrong! on the contrary, ur wife shouldnt really give up! I know one thing : a delay is always a good news.. if u have submitted everything included recent Police Clearances, recent Medicals and whatever they want, then u should worry much..
things should look bright for all of us this month....

My wife has recieved new medical instruction today and passport back from chc New delhi. my wife is going for medical again the first was expired I dont know how much more time its going to take any idea how long its going to take for PP request after you submit your medicals.

when do you think aman we should hear from the embassy , as its taking for ever and ever , 2 months have passed through all the pcc and new medical have been submitted 2 months ,
so aman you mean to say e client status does not change at all. Aman do you know anybody who have actuall recieved their passport from chc new delhi in the past month or its taking for everybody same amount time , because as of last yr people do get their passport within 2 weeks of its submission

well anonymous, i truly think that we should get it back this month!!
if there is nothing wrong with our application, we have nothing to worry!
also, i havent heard anyone in the immigration forums as such, who have got the passports back from new delhi! i mean honestly, there arent too many Indian users in this site or other sites i browse....
i guess that we should be definitely getting back our passports this month
on the contrary, for my case, though it has been 2 months since they started processing it, my CSQ (a quebec selection certificate) was recieved by them like 2-3 weeks back! so, i guess they would be on verge of finalizing all of our cases; and we all would get through at the same time....

Per the earlier post Rayden...if you remember sent his passport on Feb 8th got it back on 7th March, they started to process his case on Jan 12th.
Aman this is the same person whom you were going back and forth with regards to how to send the passport and you advised him to send it via speed post.
it took them 10 weeks to finish his appliaction in New Delhi. I think the officer who is working on our application is either on vacation he/she is Swamped with vistior visa´s ....

case CHC new delhi started nov 2003
passport request was in nov 2003
intrview scheduled for 15 dec 2003
case refused feb 2004
case fileed in IAD toronto feb 2004
ADR was in oct 2004
full hearing was jan 2005
chc new delhi started processing my case in 10 feb 2005
police Clearance request in mar 2005
medical instruction april 2005 and passport return today.

yes aman kj is right rayden got his passport back duly stamped within 2 weeks after his submission ,what makes you say that we will get this month our visa back
