Applicants have sixty (60) days from the date that their application file number is posted on this website to contact this office, failing which it shall be assumed that the applicant is no longer interested in pursuing the application and we shall close our file without further notice to the applicant. In the event that a file is closed, applicants are free to reapply in future for entry to Canada, but this would necessitate submission of a wholly new application, including application fees.

The list below shows the application file number and, opposite this, the date on which that file number was first posted on this website. The sixty (60) day period mentioned above is calculated for each file from the date the file number was posted on this website.

Please check those links and tell me if you believe that those websites are true and not fabricated .

1- http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/menu-en.asp?act=v&did=1962&mid=2&cat=1130&typ=1
2- http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/menu-en.asp?act=v&did=1962&mid=3&cat=1130&typ=1
3-http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/menu-en.asp?act=v&did=1962&mid=4&cat=1130&typ=1

and each time you change the number after mid= you´ll have a different location with the same file numbers !
However you´ll never find these links while you´re making a search in the same site !

Dear Lina,

Please open the following website of Detroit:

http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/detroit/

1) Enter this website by selecting the language
2) Click on the link for "Visa and Immigration" (third link on the left side)
3) On this page there are topics in blue. See the 4th topic " Immigrant Case Status"
4) Click on any of the links to get information.

I hope you are able to find the information now.

I would like to mention here again that this information is only useful for those people who have been asked to appear for an interview in DETRIOT.

That was an April Fool day joke. With changing mid value it seemed you could see file number for Buffalo.

The only consulate showing the file number is Detriot. If your case is filed or processing at Detroit then it is useful else not.

Though the idea is good which Buffalo should also use to give an idea to it´s applicants.
