Subject: medical results have been received (my timeline)
I thought I would share this.
My e-CAS status changed today to Medical results have been received.
I applied in Buffalo under Skilled Worker category
Applied: March 2004
IA: October 2004
Medical: Dec 2004
FBI forms: Feb 2005.

Hope this means that I´m going to get visa soon. I actually sent my Right of Permanent Residence Fee last Friday - good intuition, ha?

My e-Clent status also changed to "Medical results have been received" today. I hope there will be a good news for me. What do you guys think? Here is my timeline:

12/03 applied
1/04 AOR
1/05 IA (Interview Waived, my IA is kind of late, not sure if it is because I sent additional docs late in 6/04)
2/05 medicals
3/05 FBI, landing fee

Good luck to all!

If you guys are not from one of the countries that their citizens might be of any trouble for Canada, you are very likely to receive PPR in a couple of weeks. Otherwise it does not mean anything at all. A friend of mine who is from one of the troublesome countries, received that medicals received status 6 months ago and he is still waiting for his PPR.
Good luck.

Couple of questions for you, Mr. Anonymous.

1.Which are those countries that their citizens might be of any trouble for Canada?

2.How do you know that these applicants are very likely to receive PPR in a couple of weeks? While most of the applicants get their PPR in couple of days. (After reviewing this forum).

3.How it does not mean anything at all? Isn?t it better then knowing anything about PR application progress?

I am just curious. By the way, Good Luck to these above applicants.

I guess Sri Lanka is considered a "troublesome country" because it takes a long time for people in our country. My medical was done in USA in July 2004 but the status doesn´t even say that they received it! I am wondering if all those claims about multiculturalism is actualy true in Canada. Maybe I´m better off in good ol US of A ;)

Has anyone thought about writing to the minister about it???
