Hi,
I am from the U.K and I am planning to find work in Canada as a Nanny, once I have completed my studies and gained enough qualifications.
I was just wondering if I could just come straight over to Canada and look for a job. I have been several times before and know that I must receive an offer of employment before getting a work permit. So i just wondered if it was ok to do it from within canada?? I also understand I can only stay for 6 months without a permit.

Please check CIC website which is being run by Canadian government. At the website, search for a live-in caregiver.
You will get information what you need.
