Hi guys
I´d applied in March 2001 at Islamabad. Took my interview on March 15, 2005. I´m now waiting for my medicals. I´ve been going through a lot (like everyone else around here) for my immigration. Hi Khan,
My situation is similar to you. I also applied in March 2001 and gave interview in Feb 2005(Islamabad, Pakistan). The interview went fine but at the end the interviewer said we are doubtful abt ur BE and Masters Degree. If they are ok you will get the immigration. She told me it will take 8 months and then you will be in Canada. She also said you will get response in three weeks.
But its almost two months now but i have not heard from them. Please share your interview experience.

Alright, no problem at all.
As far as the authenticity of your educational documents is concerned, assume it their right to verify them for as many times as they want it. If your documents are authentic...then you do not need to worry at all. The only way this can harm you is that it may take an extra month or two for you to receive the medicals. Once you receive the medical instructions, it will then be a matter of another two and a half months for you to get the visa stamped.
Always remember one thing. They have opened that office and they have hired so many people only to help people who are interested in immigration. Canada needs immigrants more than we need immigration. They only want to make sure that they let only the right people go to Canada. And if you are convinced from within that you are the right person, then nothing can stop your immigration.

Hi,
this is Mrs.Zahid
I have applied in july 2003.got my file number.and they said i will have to take an interview in 36 months .36 months will be over in july 2006.My husband is an engineer and he is an asst. professor in a university. he has not given ielts yet. does he still has to give an ielts exams?I am anxiously waiting for my call.My daughter got addmission in pakistan because she wanted to go for higher studies but our call is not in time,now my son has applied in canadian universities may be aur call would come before he leaves and his fee will be 1/6th.i have hired a lawyer in Us and applied from there but my lawyer was very slow and he took whole one year to complete my applicaton and the rules changed that pakistanis have to apply from the country of origin.now can you tell me how much time it will take.and if they call us for an interview then what are the other formalities.how much time does the medical takes etc.according to your case it will may take another 2 years.somebody told me to get caips notes of my case.can you tell me how can i get caips notes if my brotherin law applies from canada who is a citizen.is their any other way to get visa earlier like job offered or anything. pl. help me in this case.
