Aman who told you that chc new delhi is the fastest embassy, it does not look like because i am reading the notes by other people as to how thier passport comes after 8 days with a visa stamp on it , it does not make any sense to me at all , bufflow embassy ,london embassy , hongkong embassy gets the passport back with a visa stamp within 7 days , some even dont ask for the passport by mail they just wnt the client to bring the passport by hand so they can stamp at the same time

yes, but have u seen how long there initial process is?? i mean u wouldnt talk about it if u cared about the initial time taken before the actual pp request is made!! delhi requests the passport upfront; thats why it takes time!

so again what they do with the passport with all this time ,mine is nearing to 3 months since now they have got th passport and dont you think its time to get worry , i mean to say 3 months and no response , also faxed and sent downt the letters to them but no response

they wont respond to ur faxes until and unless there is a problem!! no one can tell u wat would they be doing with the passports for so long?? The medical and background checks can take long, but i am myself confused as this shouldnt take this long!!
but again; one thing is for sure : if they think ur case is under the standard timeline of delhi, they will try and clear the backlogs first and then come up with our cases!! for example, for me and KJ, its just 3 months since we submitted the application to mississauga! so, they know that our application can still be sorted out in 2-3 weeks time; so they finish off the other backlog files! as far as things are concerned with u anonymous, i dont understand becuz ur case is even a refusal one and u have been playing this waiting game for more than an year! they should sort out ur one first! but no one can know wat procedures they adopt!
i am sorry mate, but we have no choice at the moment! getting ourselves heated over it would only burn down our veins; they are unruffled by it!

but aman even kj case he has sent down the passport as feb 2nd and he has no response , you are also looking yourself for 3 months atleast
SEE all i wnt to know to give us yes or no answer so we decide something else , we dont wnt this to linger on and on
it has already taken 3 months since we have sent down the passport and medical and pcc than why its taking that long , believe it or not there is something wront they have not sent any letter to us also at this time

u are worrying for no reason anonymous! and KJ´s wife sent down the pp on 12-13 the feb, if i am not wrong! and u said that ur wife sent it down on 18th feb, in the first post..
so, its just 2 months as yet; and KJ´s wife didnt even get any eye colour or height info form, which is so important before they give the visa! I asked him before if he was sure that their inteview has been waived? but he didnt answer it....
anyways, u just calm down ur nerves!
tell me how long was it that u heard from them after ur wife´s interview, when she was rejected??

my wife got a request for the passport with the medical on jan 27th and we sent the passport on the 18th after getting the medical done , but aman the thing which i dont understand my parents and wife are really shocked that why what would they do with the passport for so long , if you have taken your passport with you on march 1st , dont expect to get it back sometimes in june because thats whats happening with us , its taking 3 months , all i am trying to prepare you , i dont know how come the visa officer told you that it will take couple of weeks to finish everything for you becaus if you look more than a month have passed in your case since they have your passport

its never about when they took my passport; its always about when they started processing the file! they started processing my file on 3rd Feb! and it has been more than 2 months after that! and the visa officer never told me that i will get it back in 2 weeks; she said "a few weeks"; which i am assuming is 4-5 weeks after the interview! and since my CSQ reached them only on the 16-17th march or after, i am expecting them to wrap off my case this month....

Guys,
The second letter, which was sent to us, stated that we need to submit following documents (standard letter) and only passport was checked...so I am not sure if we need to submit anything else or if she needs an interview.

CSQ means Certificat De Selection Du Quebec; its a quebec certificate thingy which i need to ontain in order to be able to live in Quebec! and my sponsor wife has to sign the undertaking with Quebec, which other province´s sponsor´s have to sign with the federal government!!
my interview was on 3rd march and i submitted my passport then, even though i got the pp request letter on 15th feb! i decided on submitting it at the interview; and so i did!

pp request i think was the first letter stating " we have received your application and started your application process and the next step is to submit ur passport" am I correct ? or this was the second letter ?
