  Dear Mates,

As you know, we have landed on MAR29 and now we are back home in Dubai, UAE. Everything went as planned and I am now waiting for the SIN and PR cards to be mailed to my Nephew address in Toronto. Once I get them I will keep you notified.

Good luck for all.

Saleh

How many days did you have to stay in Canada?
How did you show proof of funds?
Did the officer ask about where you were going to stay?
Is it ok to tell the officials that you are there just to get the PR and SIN?

Thank you.

Hey Saleh, pay attention , make sure that what you´ve done is OK otherwise you´ll loose your PR state.
according to my knowledge that you should stay at least the first two years. May be three years ago it was easy to do this, but now , with the presence of the PR card, I don´t know ... Just ask carefully, ok? Good Luck

Dear All,

We are back just to finish the kids schools at home country and then will be back to Canada.

And for your info, to maintain the PR status we have to stay 2 years in every 5 years in Canada, so leaving it before getting the PR card or in such short time would not affect the status.

For the funds, I had a bank account in Canada which I have openned just before landing from my home country and I had the funds sent there. At the airport, the officer just asjed about the amount and did not see the statement.

Good luck for all.

Saleh
