My cousin has sponsored his wife to come to Canada and the paper work was completed at the end of February. To date, he received a letter of acknowledgement, and no other indication. He has called the Canadian Embassy in Vienna and has tried to contact Immigration to check the status of his wife´s application. He has made many telephone calls, but cannot speak to a live body. Does anyone know where he can get updated information on her application or who he can actually speak with? He misses her very much and wants her home soon. Hope someone can help.

From my experience I know that it is very hard to get a live person to talk to. BUt you need to keep trying and finally someone will pick up. I know it is frastraiting but that is the reality, unfortunately.
