Hello everyone!
I am still waiting for my passport request. My query is when I get to Canada, how long would I stay before I get to sponsor my husband and 3 children? Is there an income requirement? Do I have to submit a letter from my employer (in Canada) stating my period of employment, salary etc.? Please help. Thank you very much.

Hi Sharon, good day.
I did not include my family in my application because we did not meet the required proof of funds. Our plan is to sponsor them when I get to Canada which will give me enough time to adjust and establish myself.

Yes, I have listed them in my application as family members but not accompanying. I really would like to know how long should I stay in Canada before I can apply to sponsor them. Is it possible to do this 1 or 2 months after arriving? Thanks again Sharon. You´re really a big help in this forum.

I have just looked through the sponsorship documents. As long as you are PR you are free to begin the sponsorship process.
