Hi,
I have got my PP reqeust. What will be the next step? How much time I get to immigrate to Canada after I get stamped visa on my PP?
Time Line:
Application - Dec 2002
Medical - March/April 2004
PP request - April 2005
Please guide me.

(in reply to: PP Request..What Next) they usually give you 1 year from the date of your medicals, however I see that you did those in April of 2004. Given that they have not requested you to do them again... I suspect there will be some sort of extension to that landing envelope. how much- I cannot say. Others might have an idea, but you will only know for certain when your passport is returned to you.
Please advise us when this happens. the question is appearing on our forum frequently.

From Medicals to PP Request.
Did they ask any other documents or was there a delay for any other reason?
The "VALID TILL" date will be mentioned on the visa so you will know how much time you have to enter.

(in reply to: PP Request..What Next) Usually, the immigration visa is valid until a year since you have done your medical exams. However, I have seen some people whose medical exams validity was extended for 3 or 6 months provided that they haven´t left Canada or US after their medicals. At the moment, there is nothing to do but awaiting your visa to come and check its expiry date.
