Subject: Medical Received
Today when I checked the e-client status, it states the following:

e-Client Application Status
Permanent Residence

"We started processing your application on April 12, 2004.

Medical results have been received."

How long I may have to wait at this point? It doesn´t say anything about any decision made. I would really appreciate any thought on this.

Are you sure it was changed today? I am asking this because e-Client status usually changes on Sunday night (Monday morning).

You should now receive the passport request shortly.

Good Luck.

congragtulations Rubel,it seems the your PP request is in the way, and they ,ususlly , change the status to "decision made" after stamping the visa.

Mohit: I didn´t check it yestarday, so I really cant tell, when.I guess Sunday night.

Lina: I did my medical in last week of November, so it was mailed first week of December from the doctor´s office.

Thanks both of you for the hope.

I´m afraid that ?Medical results have been received? does not mean anything. In my case I had that note in e-client for more than 1 month and still waiting...

And what my lawyer saying that it actually takes about 3-5 months to hear from the Visa Office after all required documents/medicals are in.

They do not do anything to slow your case down just filling up your forms, wrapping the papers up nicely and aswering some stupid question of yours :-)

I have that "Medical results have been received" message since October 2004 and still waiting for my PPR. At the same time I have seen so many people who received their PPR shortly after their status changed to medicals received. If you are sure that your backgroung check should have been straightforward, it is a good sign for you. Otherwise you may need to wait a few more months.

I believe it depends on the security check whether it is before or after medicals .
